Motogen's cooler motors are classified as high-efficiency products and feature ball bearings for improved durability and low noise. In two-speed models, higher efficiency grades at two speeds increase the overall cooler grade.

Motogen offers its cooler motors in two main types: Capacitor Run-Start (CRS) and Capacitor Run (CR).

Capacitor Run motors, due to reactive power compensation, have a high power factor near unity, meaning more of the consumed power is converted to useful work.

Cooler motors operate in harsh environments with humidity and dust and require continuous operation for long periods. Additionally, issues in other cooler components such as belts, blowers, bearings, and lack of maintenance or nonstandard repairs can damage the motor. Therefore, ensuring motor health and reliable performance is critical for cooler users. Motogen equips its cooler motors with an overload switch to prevent overload and improve motor service life. This system is installed on dual-capacitor (CRS) motors and is referred to as CRS Overload.

Another feature is self-ventilation via rotor vanes following NEMA standards. As the rotor turns, air is drawn through bracket channels into the motor and expelled through frame openings.
