Industrial Air Handling Unit (AHU)

The air-washer air handling unit (Airwasher AHU) is designed and manufactured to ventilate air using fine water droplets and the mass-and-heat exchange process between water and air. This system consists of several components, including the supply fan, the air-washer section equipped with water spray nozzles, a heating coil, as well as filters for air purification and dampers. One of the advantages of an air-washer AHU is its cost-effectiveness, as it does not require refrigeration equipment such as a chiller and can be connected directly to a boiler room. This makes it more economical compared to other types of air handling units. The schematic figure below illustrates the different sections of an air-washer AHU.
