Silicon metal is an alloy consisting of a high percentage of silicon and various amounts of iron, calcium and aluminum. Silicon metal in the industry is classified in different grades 441, 421, 553, 3303, 3305, 2202, 1501, 1101 etc. Among these, silicon metal 441 is the most widely used type in the country.
