Vacuum forming

Vacuum forming is a process for forming thermoplastic sheets (HIPS, PET, ABS, PVC). In this process, a plastic sheet is heated until it becomes flexible. In the next step, the heated sheet is placed on the mold or the mold goes to the sheet and sticks to it, then the air between the sheet and the mold is removed by air suction by the vacuum pump so that the sheet takes the shape of the mold.
