The MWM-520 smart meter is equipped with an electromagnetic measurement mechanism and is designed for monitoring water abstraction from water resources in accordance with their environmental conditions. In addition to accurately measuring the flow rate of surface and groundwater, this meter is capable of recording and storing all events and data related to water withdrawal trends over predefined time periods. The meter can transmit its data to a remote meter reading software either through communication with a smart electricity meter or independently via direct connection to the cellular telecommunication network using data communication platforms. Through the same communication channel, the MWM-520 is also able to receive required configuration settings and operational commands from the software.
