Drip Tape Installation

• Hard and Saline Water: In areas with hard or saline water, conduct a water quality test before designing the system and implement preventive measures to avoid clogging.

• Tape Installation Angle: Bends along the tapes can reduce water flow, especially at the beginning of lines or at tape connection points.

• Land Slope: Installing drip tapes on land with a slope greater than 10 degrees is not recommended. In such cases, tapes should be installed perpendicular to the slope.

• Plant Water Requirements: When designing the irrigation system, the plant’s water needs must be accurately considered to ensure adequate moisture around the roots.

• Laying the Tapes: Avoid installing tapes in short lengths, as this increases costs due to the need for more connections. Additionally, tapes should not exceed 60 meters in length.

• Pressure Sensitivity: During installation, avoid pulling the tapes excessively (around 15 kg) to prevent overstretching.

• Air Removal from Tapes: After connecting the tapes, air inside the tapes must be released before sealing the ends of the lines.
