Magnetic Water De-Hardener

A magnetic softener is a device that uses a strong magnetic field to change the physicochemical properties of dissolved salts in water (especially calcium and magnesium) and prevent the formation of hard, sticky deposits in pipes, packages, water heaters, and other equipment. Unlike resin softeners, this device does not remove salts from water, but rather transforms their crystal structure from a needle-like and sticky state (calcite) to a spherical and powdery state (aragonite). How the Magnetic Hardener Works Scientifically The basis of this device is based on electromagnetic principles and changing the crystallization process. When water containing calcium ions (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺) passes through a magnetic field, the magnetic field interacts with these ions and affects the nucleation and growth of crystals. Crystal transformation mechanism: Under normal conditions, calcium carbonate crystallizes as calcite with a needle structure and high adhesion properties. However, after passing through a suitable magnetic field, conditions are provided for the formation of aragonite with a spherical and powdery structure. These spherical crystals do not have the power to adhere to surfaces and are easily washed away by the flow of water. Research shows that for optimal effectiveness, the magnetic field strength must be at least 3000 Gauss and the water must pass through the field at an appropriate speed (usually 0.5 to 3 meters per second). At very low or very high speeds, the effectiveness of the magnetic field is reduced.
