Usage:

Vitamin C ampoule is a water-soluble vitamin that is used in the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency, scurvy, as a supplement in intravenous nutrition, burns, for wound healing, methemoglobinemia, septic shock, etc. under the supervision of a physician
Depending on your response to treatment, your physician may prescribe a higher or lower dose.
Do not take more than your doctor has prescribed.
The dosage of the medicine is determined by your physician, but the usual dosage of this medicine is as follows:
- Usage in adults:
The usual dose is 500 mg to 2 grams daily.
In septic shock and sepsis, the dose is 1.5 grams every 6 hours for 4 days or until recovery.
For wound healing, a dose of 300 to 500 mg daily is used for 7 to 10 days.
– Use in children:
As a supplement in intravenous nutrition: 15 to 25 mg/kg daily (maximum dose 80 mg/kg/day)
Scurvy: 100 to 300 mg daily for one week, then 100 mg daily until recovery continues.
– Use in the elderly:
Same as the adult dose.
– Use of the drug in renal failure:
No dose adjustment is required in mild to moderate renal failure.
In ESRD, it should be used with great caution to prevent the development of oxaluria and kidney stones, a dose of 100 mg daily is sufficient to meet the daily requirement.
– Use of the drug in hepatic failure:
No dose adjustment is required.
