Ключевые характеристики

A pressure vessel is a closed container designed to hold gases or liquids at a pressure much higher or lower than ambient pressure. Pressure vessels are widely used in various industries, including petrochemical, oil and gas, chemical, and food industries. To design a pressurized source, the operating conditions of the vessel, the type of material to be stored in the vessel, its dimensions, and its placement must be specified for the design engineer. Four materials used in the construction of pressure vessel bodies are: titanium, nickel alloys, stainless steel, and carbon steel. According to the ASME SEC VIII standard, a pressure vessel is a vessel with a design pressure of more than 15 psi and less than 3000 psi. These metal vessels are usually cylindrical or spherical for storing or performing chemical processes of liquids or gases, and are capable of withstanding various loads (internal pressure, or external pressure and vacuum inside). Pressure vessels are equipment that has a special and significant application in the water and wastewater, oil and petrochemical sectors, and in most major industries such as power plants and transportation, and therefore paying attention to their design and construction is of particular importance. Pressure vessel The main standard for designing these vessels is ASME SECTION VIII, which is developed by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and is revised every four years. The criterion for compliance with this standard is that the internal pressure of the vessel is greater than 15 psi. Pressure vessels are designed to operate safely at specific pressures and temperatures, which are called design pressures and design temperatures. Designing and constructing such pressure equipment without principles and using design codes and standards would be very dangerous and accident-prone. In constructing pressure vessels by welding, several methods can be used, depending on the base metal material, type of application, sensitivity in the construction of the vessel and the workshop equipment, including manual electrode welding, MIG welding, submerged arc welding, and TIG welding. In this method, after rolling the vessel body and making its cap, they are welded together.
